About Dr. Tim
It is my honor to serve through the gift of chiropractic and I hope to see you and the whole family in the office soon.
My Story
I moved out to California from the East Coast to pursue my doctorate in chiropractic in tandem with a Spiritual Psychology degree. Having played sports competitively my entire life, I began my career working with athletes. It wasn't until I worked in a Pregnancy and Pediatric centered office that offered an interdisciplinary style of care that I found my passion for being a family chiropractor. Through this, other mentorships, and a deepening in my understanding of the intrinsic connection of the mind, body and spirit, it became clear that utilizing a holistic approach to healing was something I wanted to offer to the Los Angeles community.
Having grown up in a big family, as one of 6 kids, from a young age I was aware that I had an intuitive gift for helping people. Studying chiropractic gave me the medium to help people on the physical level, while spiritual psychology gave me the tools to help people navigate the emotional component that is often present with the pain. When working with my patients, I come from the understanding that pain and ailments are the body’s way of getting our attention. I often reference Louis Hay, and her lifelong work of addressing the emotional component that is at play beneath the physical ailment. During a session I assist patients in gaining a better understanding of what area of their lives this pain may be stemming from. I believe that by heightening your level of awareness around any pain or ailment, it allows you to look at it through an empowering lens and see how it may be happening FOR you instead of TO you. By taking this approach, in my experience, the body is able to heal at a faster pace.
In a session, I cater to a patient’s individual needs by incorporating a combination of diversified chiropractic technique, craniosacral therapy, reiki, nutritional support, cupping, lymphatic drainage and myofascial release technique; treating anything from an ankle sprain to an ear infection. I acknowledge that healing and maintaining wellness extends beyond our time together in the office so I make sure that my patients often leave with tailored home stretches, exercises, nutritional guidance and other ways to support and accelerate their continued self care.
It is my joy to be able to support and treat a full spectrum of patients, catering to their unique needs. From helping patients heal from sports related injuries, to caring for babies tumbling their way through developmental milestones, to supporting women before, during and after their pregnancy.
